We had our 18 month check-up yesterday, and the babies are in perfect working order. Here are their updated stats:
Addison
height 32.5 inches (75th percentile)
weight 24 lb (46th percentile)
head circ 18.25 inches (45th percentile)
Addison is looking really tall these days--and that's because she is! Her legs look like they've grown a few inches in the past month (and maybe they really have).
Jackson
height 32.5 inches (57th percentile)
weight 24 lb 12 oz (35th percentile)
head circ 19 inches (64th percentile)
Jackson is also growing much taller, and while he looks heftier than Addison, compared to other little boys his age he's still kind of a little thing (I was surprised by how big other little boys were in nursery). But he's growing well and eating well, so we're on track and making progress on getting bigger. Sometimes I look at him and am struck by how big of a boy he's become.
One noteworthy part of the appointment came when the doctor asked us how many words each of the kids say. We sat and thought for a minute or two, and decided that it was probably around 30 or 40 (and it might even be more than that). The doctor was surprised that it was so many--most kids are on track if they have 10 words at this age. What little talkers we have!
