Yesterday, we flew from Baltimore to Salt Lake City, which is the first leg of our trip, for Rachel and Chris' wedding. Considering the significant length of the flight, the babies were great! It was quite the ordeal to get all of us, and all of our stuff, out the door and on the plane--but we made it!
Once we landed, we quickly got settled at the hotel, got changed, then headed up the Mill Creek Canyon to Log Haven for the wedding rehearsal. The venue was beautiful, and the rehearsal went off without a hitch, except for a small baby rattlesnake that slithered across our path. Good thing that was all we saw of that guy!
After the rehearsal, we headed to Market Street for the rehearsal dinner. Unfortunately, it was quickly getting too late for two babies who'd been traveling all day, so we didn't stay for long (though the bride and groom-to-be were nice enough to have the restaurant package up our food and bring it back to the hotel for Daniel and me later). Before we skeedaddled, here are some pictures from the rehearsal dinner.
This morning, we spent playing and hanging out at and around the hotel. In big news--Jackson took his first steps this morning!! We officially have two walking babies on our hands--so exciting!
I can't believe my little sissy is getting married tonight!
